There are a few bulletin boards and discussion groups on the web devoted to investor relations and public relations. Those which do exist could use more postings from visitors! It may be that corporate communications professionals are hesitant to speak frankly in a public place due to the often sensitive and confidential nature of their jobs. Note that the SEC posts a lot of pertinent information at their "gov.us.topic.finance.securities" board. Even if you do not wish to post you are welcome to "lurk".

• ITAA's Investor Relations Forum hosted by the Information Technology Association of America.
• Intercall's Investor Relations Forum
• Corporate Governance Network's Forums
• Free IR Online Events by OpenChannel.com.
• "gov.us.topic.finance.securities" discussion group presented via Google -- Hosted by the US government, this discussion group contains mostly official government postings. From time to time you will also see a "Request for Public Comment"; but sadly nobody seems to have posted replies to these. Perhaps people are nervous about expressing their opinions on a public, government forum.
